Rapunzel Construction was founded with a clear purpose: to build a company where honesty, transparency and craftsmanship are the operating rules rather than the marketing.
For Amy, starting Rapunzel was not simply launching a business. It was the chance to fix the things that make hiring a contractor stressful — the pressure to sign today, the quote that changes halfway through, the crew you have never met turning up at your door.
The name stands for growth and resilience, and for a fresh start. Those same values still decide how we answer the phone, how we price a job, and what we do when something goes wrong on site.

We Show Up When We Said
You get a schedule at the start and the same crew through to the end. When a delay is unavoidable you hear it from us first.
We Build The Parts Nobody Sees
Waterproofing, base preparation, flashing, compaction. The work that decides whether the visible part still looks right in ten years.
We Say No When We Should
If a job is not right for us, or what you want will not work, we tell you. Turning down work is cheaper than doing it badly.

Homeowners First, But Not Only
Around 90% of what we do is residential work for homeowners, which is where the company started and where most of our week goes.
The rest is condominium and homeowner associations, where we are used to board approvals, community standards and keeping residents informed, and light commercial renovation held to exactly the same standard as a family’s kitchen.
Through our sister company, Rapunzel Roofing, we can cover every square inch of a property’s structure — with the single exception of full blacktop paving.
