Common Questions
Why did my last driveway crack?
Almost always base preparation, missing or badly spaced control joints, or a slab poured too thin for the vehicles on it. We will tell you which one it was before quoting the replacement.
How soon can I drive on it?
Foot traffic in a day or two, vehicles at seven days as a rule, and we will give you the exact dates for your pour. Concrete keeps gaining strength for weeks after it looks finished.
Can you pour in cold weather?
Within limits, using cold-weather practices and blankets. There are days we will tell you to wait rather than pour something that will not cure properly, and that call costs you nothing.
Do you do stamped or coloured concrete?
Yes, and we will show you real examples of how each finish weathers over time before you commit. Some patterns hide age well and some do not. [TODO: confirm which decorative finishes you offer.]
